MINDFULNESS- WHAT DOES THIS LOOK LIKE IN MY SCHOOL?

Mindfulness is now a common tool for people to use to help them manage their lives and the challenges life brings us all. From the board room, the sports field, and the classroom mindfulness is a tool that we  can all use. Mindfulness allows us to view the world through a different lens and empowers those who practice it the freedom of choice. As Victor Frankl said, "Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom." This session will explore the "why" of mindfulness and then look at "how" it works and then "what" you can do in your own life as well as your classroom and school.
